Candy From 22 Different Countries Around the World

Following is a transcript of the video.

Narrator: Although it's unclear which country was the first to create candy, the earliest signs that humans crave something sweet to eat can be found in cave drawings dating all the way back to 6,000 BC, and ever since, candy has evolved. Since then, candy has morphed into all sorts of confections ranging from sweet to sour. Let's take a look at candy around the world.

Germany - Haribo

Invented in Germany in 1922, gummy bears might be the most ubiquitously beloved candies on the planet. These days Haribo produces 100 million chewy, colorful gummy bears every single day.
